Highlights: To provide green energy and cut down on electricity expenses of the school so that benefit is passed on to improve overall educational facilities and contribute to infrastructure development in the school. Overall, in 25 years operation of the installed system will be equivalent to mitigating 400 tons of carbon emissions and planting 650 trees over the lifetime. The solar panel system also is an educational tool, providing students with insights into renewable energy technologies and sustainability, aligning with modern environmental awareness. 14.4 KW On-Grid Solar Power system, 25 panels of 575 watt each. System Generation – 50-55 Units per day / 1500-1600 Units per month approx. 25 Years Performance Warranty on Solar Panels with power degradation upto 80% (Linear) in 25 years. Inverter Warranty – 8 years. Break-even period for the project is 4.5 Years. Expected saving in electricity bill Rs. 220000 per annum.
Beneficiaries:1000 School Students from Std. I to Std. XII and the teaching staff immensely benefited by this project.
