EWB Mumbai Chapter organized a corporate cricket tournament in April 2013. This tournament was started in 2010 with three teams and with time it has become one of the popular annual corporate cricketing events in Mumbai. Aim of this tournament is to raise funds for projects being executed by EWB Mumbai Chapter.
A total of 16 corporate teams namely Orion Systems, CISCO, WIPRO, Videocon d2h, PE Electronics, Mahindra Finance, IOT Group, L&T, ACC, Hiranandani Group of Industries, TCS, Parker Hannifin, UHDE India, FLSMIDTH, CSC and Black & Veatch participated in the tournament played over six days. The tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Subhash Nabar, Head – Customer Support, Videocon. Once again, Hiranandani Group of Companies emerged as winners after beating WIPRO by four wickets in a thrilling final. A snap shot of the event is as follows:

- Best Batsman of the Tournament: Mr. Kunal Bhavsar (Wipro)
- Best Bowler of the Tournament: Mr. Kunal Bhavsar (Wipro).
- Best Catch of the tournament: Mr. Sandesh Golatkar (Wipro).

EWB Mumbai Chapter is thankful to “CRICKET GRAPH” who has extended its support to “EWB Corporate Cricket Tournament 2013” for a charity cause. They promote cricket at grass root level from school, colleges, corporate to clubs by providing online coverage of cricket matches. EWB Mumbai Chapter has gained not only funds but also acquired skills like team building, leadership and entrepreneurial skills by organizing the event. It also helped in spreading EWB’s message to more than 16 corporate companies with CISCO and IOT Group becoming members of EWB Mumbai Chapter. ACC joined hands with EWB Mumbai Chapter for the upcoming projects.
All participating teams praised organizing committee, Mr. Joy Desai and team, for putting up such a good show and are looking forward to participate again in 2014.
