EWB-Bengaluru was one of the six chapters globally chosen for Tetratech Clean Water Fund administered by EWB-International. EWB-Bengaluru was the only chapter selected in Asia.
Under School Quench project, Drinking water facility was installed at Morarji Desai Govt Residential School, Chikkonahalli, Kunigal Taluk, Karnataka. The installed system of water filtration, storage, dispensation and disposal system is for the benefit 350 boys, girls and staff members. Team of EWB-B guided by Mr.A.Manjunath, Mr.V.Dillibabu and Mr.BK Nagesh executed the project. Student interns from BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru assisted the project team.
The project was inaugurated on 3rd Dec 2016 at Morarji Desai Govt Residential School, Kunigal Taluk, Karnatak by Swamiji Sivarudra Sivaacharya. V.Dillibabu, BK Nagesha, Vinay Sharma, Ragheshbabu of Team-EWB, HM of the School Mr. Mohan kumar, Teachers and Students had attended the event.
